2006
Sadly, in 2006, we lost two of our friends and colleagues, Jamie to breast cancer, and Pam to lung
cancer. The face of Let's March Against Cancer changed.  We became a unique organization, the only
local organization to sponsor a young child who had been affected by cancer.  Jason at age two, lost his
mother, Jamie, to cancer was sponsored and received half of the proceeds raised by Let's March
Against Cancer for his future. The other half was donated to the American Cancer Society.  In 2006,
Let's March Against Cancer raised $29,232.
